The ORF Occasional Paper No. 332, titled "Tehrik-E-Labbaik Pakistan: The New Face of Barelvi Activism," examines the emergence of the Tehrik-E-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) as the largest religious political party in the country. The TLP has demonstrated both its street power and electoral base in a short period of time, exploiting deeply emotional issues such as the finality of Prophethood and Blasphemy against the Prophet. This paper analyzes the rise of TLP and its impact on Pakistani politics.
