The Tesla Model 3, Model S, Model Y, and BMW i4 models lead in share of voice by volume and interactions. The automotive industry has faced significant disruption in recent years, with supply chain issues leading to long wait times and electric vehicle manufacturers disrupting the traditional dealership purchase journey. The trend towards sustainability and climate consciousness has also brought EVs to the forefront. In the US, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric vehicle sales increased in 2021, with EVs now accounting for more than 10% of all light-duty vehicle sales. The report collected and analyzed more than 14 million online mentions over the past 6 months to understand how the EV trend is evolving and who the audience segment really is.
