Inthefirsthalfof2023,thegrossdomesticproduct(GDP)ofthePeople’sRepublicofChina(the“PRC”)increasedby5.5%comparedto2022.However,theprospectsoftheglobaleconomyandthePRC’seconomyremainuncertainduetoglobalhighinflation,risinglendingrates,intensifyingcompetitionbetweentheUnitedStatesandthePRConvariousfrontsandtheongoingwarbetweenRussiaandUkraine,allofwhichmayhaveanadverseeffectonthePRC’seconomyandtheGroup’soperatingenvironmentinthesecondhalfof2023. DuringthePeriodunderReview,China’stobaccoindustry’sproductionandsalesvolumescontinuedtogrowsteadily.Cigarettessoldincreasedinvolumeandvalueby1.64%and0.98%respectively.However,giventhedecreaseintenderingpriceunderthemandatorytenderingpolicyinthecigaretteindustryandtheincreaseinrawmaterialprice,theGroupwasunderoperatingpressureofintensifyingindustrycompetition.TheGrouphasputmoreeffortstoplanandorganisethetenderingamongthesubsidiaries. Underthepressureofthefalloftenderpricesandtheinflation,theGrouphasimplementedaseriesofmeasuresinordertocopewiththechallengestotheprofitabilityoftheGroup.Themeasuresincludedtosimplifythemanagementstructureinordertoincreasetheefficiencyofdecisionmakingtomatchwiththefastchangingmarketdemand,toenhancetheinventorymanagementtocontroltheinventoryatanappropriatelevelandtoimplementtenderingsystemforthepurchaseofrawmaterialstoincreasethebargainingpoweronthepurchasepriceinordertoreduceandcontrolthepurchasecost. 业务回顾 于截至二零二三年六月三十日止六个月（“回 顾期间”），本公司录得持续经营业务收益约335,500,000港元，本公司拥有人应占亏损总额约为51,300,000港元，每股基本亏损总额约为0.033港元。董事会不建议就回顾期间派付中期股息。 于二零二三年上半年，中华人民共和国（“中国”）国内生产总值较去年增长5.5%。然而，全球通胀升温，环球经济及中国经济前景仍去向未明；贷款利率上升；中美两国在不同阵线的竞争加剧，以及俄乌战争持续，均可能对二零二三年下半年的中国经济及本集团的营商环境产生不利影响。 于回顾期间，中国香烟业的产量及销量继续稳步增长，所出售香烟销量及价值分别增长1.64%及0.98%。然而，受限于烟草行业强制投标政策下投标价格下跌及原材料价格上升，行业竞争加剧的环境使本集团承受一定经营压力。本集团会致力在附属公司之间计划和组织投标工作。 在投标价格下跌及通胀的压力下，本集团已实施一系列措施，以应对本集团盈利能力的挑战。该等措施包括简化管理结构，提高决策效率以适应快速变化的市场需求；提高存货管理以控制存货于合适水平及实施原材料采购投标制度，提高采购价的议价能力，以减低及控制采购成本。 2023年中期报告力图控股
