The Board did not recommendthe payment of an interim dividend for the Period underReview. 於截至二零二三年六月三十日止六個月（「回顧期間」），本公司錄得持續經營業務收益約335,500,000港元，本公司擁有人應佔虧損總 額 約 為51,300,000港 元，每 股 基 本 虧 損總額約為0.033港元。董事會不建議就回顧期間派付中期股息。 於二零二三年上半年，中華人民共和國（「中國」）國內生產總值較去年增長5.5%。然而，全球通脹升溫，環球經濟及中國經濟前景仍去向未明；貸款利率上升；中美兩國在不同陣綫的競爭加劇，以及俄烏戰爭持續，均可能對二零二三年下半年的中國經濟及本集團的營商環境產生不利影響。 In the first half of 2023, the gross domestic product (GDP) ofthe People’s Republic of China (the “PRC”) increased by 5.5%compared to 2022. However, the prospects of the globaleconomy and the PRC’s economy remain uncertain due toglobal high inflation, rising lending rates, intensifyingcompetition between the United States and the PRC onvarious fronts and the ongoing war between Russia andUkraine, all of which may have an adverse effect on the PRC’seconomy and the Group’s operating environment in thesecond half of 2023. During the Period under Review, China’s tobacco industry’sproduction and sales volumes continued to grow steadily.Cigarettes sold increased in volume and value by 1.64% and0.98% respectively.
