Inthefirsthalfof2022,China’seconomyrecoveredsteadilyandachievedayear-on-yeargrossdomesticproduct(GDP)growthof2.5%.InMay2022,theStateCouncilofChinaissuedthe“PolicyPackagetoStabilizetheEconomy”,whichproposed33detailedmeasurestohelpChina’seconomytostabilizeandrecover.However,theprospectsoftheglobaleconomyremainuncertainduetosporadicregionalCOVID-19outbreaksinthePRC,risingglobalinflation,intensifyingcompetitionbetweentheUnitedStatesandthePRConvariousfrontsandtheongoingwarbetweenRussiaandUkraine,allofwhichmayhaveanadverseeffectonChina’seconomyandtheGroup’soperatingenvironmentinthesecondhalfof2022. DuringthePeriodunderReview,China’stobaccoindustry’sproductionandsalesvolumescontinuedtogrowsteadily.Cigarettessoldincreasedinvolumeandvalueby2.68%and7.86%respectively.However,giventhedecreaseintenderingpriceunderthemandatorytenderingpolicyinthecigaretteindustryandtheincreaseinrawmaterialprice,theGroupwasunderoperatingpressureofintensifyingindustrycompetition.TheGrouphasputmoreeffortstoplanandorganisethetenderingamongthesubsidiaries. Underthepressureofthefalloftenderpricesandtheinflationofrawmaterialprice,theGrouphasimplementedaseriesofmeasuresinordertocopewiththechallengestotheprofitabilityoftheGroup.Themeasuresincludedtosimplifythemanagementstructureinordertoincreasetheefficiencyofdecisionmakingtomatchwiththefastchangingmarketdemand,toenhancetheinventorymanagementtocontroltheinventoryatanappropriatelevelandtoimplementtenderingsystemforthepurchaseofrawmaterialstoincreasethebargainingpoweronthepurchasepriceinordertoreduceandcontrolthepurchasecost. 业务回顾 于截至二零二二年六月三十日止六个月（“回 顾期间”），本公司录得收益约506,900,000港元，本公司拥有人应占溢利约为16,600,000港元，每股基本盈利约为0.011港元。董事会不建议就回顾期间派付中期股息。 于二零二二年上半年，中国经济稳步复苏，国内生产总值按年增长2.5%。于二零二二年五月，中国国务院颁布“扎实稳住经济的一揽子政策措施”，提出33项具体措施，以帮助中国经济稳定及复苏。然而，中国COVID-19的疫情在地方零星出现，环球经济前景仍去向未明；全球通胀升温；中美两国在不同阵线的竞争加剧，以及俄乌战争持续，均可能对二零二二年下半年的中国经济及本集团的营商
