BusinessReview TheGroupisanelectronicmanufacturingservices(the“EMS”)providerofferingcomprehensiveassemblingandproductionservicesofprintedcircuitboardassembly(the“PCBAs”)inthePRCthatintegrateresearchanddesign,selectionandprocurementofrawmaterials,assemblingofPCBAs,qualitycontrol,testing,logisticsandaftersalesservices. TheGrouptappedintothefinancialtechnologybusinesswiththecooperationofthird-partybusinesspartnersincethesecondhalfyearof2022.However,beinganewentranttothefintechandinsurance-relatedmarket,theGroupisfacingkeencompetitionfromlargeinsurancegroupswiththeirownonlineplatformsinthePRCandfinditdifficulttoexpandthecustomerscale,andthedevelopmentofthefinancialtechnologybusinesswasslowerthanexpected. Duringthefirsthalfof2023,China’seconomygraduallyreboundedaftertheCOVID-19controlrestrictionswerelifted.However,economicrecoverywasslowerthanexpectedastherewerestillalotofuncertaintiesintheexternalenvironment,suchasongoinggeopoliticaltensions,tradeconflictsandmacroeconomicpolicies,etc.Consumersbecomemorecautiousontheirspendingasaresultoftheuncertaineconomicoutlook. DuringtheInterimPeriod,theGroup’srevenueincreasedbyapproximately8.8%fromapproximatelyRMB127.1millionforthesixmonthsended30June2022toapproximatelyRMB138.2millionfortheInterimPeriod.TheGroup’snetlossincreasedfromRMB2.9millionforthesixmonthsended30June2022toRMB22.6millionintheInterimPeriodwhichmainlyarosefromthefinancialtechnologybusiness.
