TheGroupcontinuestoserveHongKong’sbuildingandconstructionindustriesbyofferingqualityandflexiblesolutionstoourcustomers.Withlearntexperience,technicalknow-howtogetherwithstringentqualitycontrolandestablishedprocedures,ourmanagementteamappliestheirabilitiestoresolvedifferentandincreasinglycomplexissuesonconstructionprojects,succeedinbuildingcredibilityandtrustsofourexistingandnewcustomers.Wecontinualtogaintheco-operationsandsupportofourclientsandbusinesspartnerswhohavebeenworkingwithusovertheyears. TheGrouphasexperiencedaneventfulyearwithHongKongsufferedunderthegripofCoronavirusdisease2019(“COVID-19”)forthe3rdyear.WiththesurgeofthefifthwaveofCoronavirusdisease2019(“COVID-19”)inHongKongduringtheyearended31March2023,ascertainstaffandsitesoperativeswereinfectedbythehighlyinfectiousOmicron,theprogressofsomeofourconstructionprojectshavebeensloweddownduetostaff/labourbeingquarantinedcausingtemporarymanpowershortageanddownturn.Fortunately,theinfectedcasessloweddowninthesecondhalfoftheyear,andthepandemicwasundercontrol. Duringtheyear,thefinancialresulthadbeenadverselyaffectedbysomeloss-makingprojects.Thelossoftheseprojectswasduetotheprovisionoftheliquidatedandascertaineddamagesfortheestimateddelayinthecompletionasaresultofa)incrementweatherandtropicalcyclone,b)unnecessarydelaytoprogressasaresultoftheunreasonablealertalarmsetbytherelevantparties,and(c)otherunforeseendifficultiesuncontrollablebytheCompany.WeareseekingfortheextensionoftimeincompletingtheprojectfromtheEmployers,hopingthattheyknowthatweareusingourbestendeavortocooperatewiththerelevantpartiestosolvealldifficultiesencountered,andunderstandourhelplesssituation. Notwithstandingtheabovementioned,wearepleasedtosaythatinthisfinancialyear,wehadbeenawarded2newcontractswithanaggregatecontractsumofHK$156.1millionascomparedto5newcontractsinthelastfinancialyearwithanaggregatecontractsumofHK$411.6million. 致我们的股东： 本人代表现恒建筑控股有限公司（“本公司”）连同其附属公司（统称“本集团”），欣然呈列截至二零二三年三月三十一日止年度（“二零二二╱二三财政年度”）的年报。 本集团继续为香港建筑及建造业服务，为客户提供优质及灵活的解决方案。凭藉学习经验及专业知识，加上严谨品质监控及既定程序，我们的管理团队以他们的能力解决各类项目不同及日益复杂的问题，成功向现有及新客户创建信誉和信任。我们继续取得与我们合作多年的客户及业务伙伴的合作和支持。 因应香港这三年受着2019新冠病毒病（“COVID-19”）的掣肘，本集团遭受多事的一年。随着2019冠状病毒病 （“COVID-19”）于二零二三年三月三十一日止期间在香港爆发，因我们的部分员工及工地员工受感染传播力
