BusinessReviewandOutlook TheGroupisaHongKong-basedsubcontractorengagedintheprovisionofwettradesworksandthewettradesrelatedancillaryworksinHongKong.Since2021,capitalisingonourexpertiseandexperienceinprovidingwettradesrelatedsolutions,weestablishedanonlineplatformforsubscriberstospecifythepaymentapplicationinourdatabase. TheDirectorsareoftheviewthatthegeneraloutlookoftheindustryandthebusinessenvironmentinwhichtheGroupoperatesremainsdifficultandchallenging.Theongoingoutbreakof2019novelcoronavirus(COVID-19)hashaddrasticeffectontheHongKongeconomyandconstructionindustryintermsofcashflows,operationalefficienciesandcompletionprogressofcertainprojects,includingsupplychaindisruptions,workforceshortagesduetoillnessandpreventativequarantinesandworkstoppagesduetomeasuresimposedbythecustomers.ConstructionmarketinHongKonghasbeenexperiencingadjustmentunderweakenedmarketsentiment.TheGrouphasincurredadditionalcostsforadditionalsafemanagementmeasuresonsite,suchassafedistancingmeasuresandregularperiodicCOVID-19swabtests,andtoretainandrecruitmoreworkersinviewoftheshortageofmanpowerduetoborderclosures.Despiteoftheshort-termchallengesanduncertaintyintheindustry,wewillremainfocusedonourlong-termgoalsandsustainabledevelopments.TheBoardwilltakeappropriatemeasurestoimproveoperatingefficiencyandaprudentapproachintenderingprofitableprojectsinordertolessenanyadverseimpactsontheGroup.
