The Deloitte Global 2022 Gen Z and Millennial Survey found that despite feeling burnt out, many are taking on second jobs and pushing for more purposeful and flexible work. They want their employers to tackle climate change and mental health issues, but businesses may be missing opportunities to drive deeper and broader change. Gen Zs and millennials are determined to create a better post-pandemic world, but economic conditions and quality of life have deteriorated in many parts of the world. The survey results indicate that there are still opportunities for millennials and Gen Zs, but they face challenges such as alarming geopolitical conflicts, extreme climate events, inequality, and a steep economic downturn.
