ANALYSISOFECONOMICENVIRONMENT Inthefirsthalfof2022,thegrossdomesticproduct(“GDP”)ofthePeople’sRepublicofChina(the“PRC”or“China”)recordedayear-on-yearincreaseof2.5%,andtotalretailsalesofconsumergoodsdecreasedby0.7%yearonyear.WhileCOVID-19hasbroughtuncertaintiestoChina’seconomysince2020,theresurgenceofthepandemicthisyearhasimpactedthenationalsupplychain,logisticsandtransportation,andcitizens’travelling.Despitethepersistingchallengesofsourcingrawmaterial,theGroupfocusedoncreatingvalues,managingrisksandenhancingflexibilityintheuncertainenvironment.Amidthenewnormalofchangingpurchasinghabitofconsumersandtherecurrentpandemic,theabilitiestocontinuouslyinnovateproductsandenhanceoperationwithprudentandagileorganizationareessentialforustoadapttothedramaticchangesintheenvironmentandrespondmoreeffectively.TheGroupcontinu
