Inthefirsthalfofthefinancialyear,therealestatesectorinmainlandChinafacedmountingriskpressures.Againstthebackdropofrelevantpolicyadjustmentsandoptimizations,theindustryhasgraduallystartedtoseesomerelief,buttheoverallmarkethasnotyetexhibitedastrongmomentumofrecovery.TheGroup’srealestaterelatedservicesbusinessesoperatinginmainlandChinamainlydependontheprosperityoftherealestatemarketandthesounddevelopmentoftherealestatesector.Inthestillgloomybusinessenvironmentacrosstheindustry,realestatedevelopershavesloweddowntheprogressoftheirprojects.Aftercompletingcertainexistingrealestateprojects,theGroupfailedtoachieveasatisfactorypaceinsecuringappropriatenewprojects,resultinginasignificantdeclineinrevenueoftherelevantbusinesssegment.Toaddressthepressureonrevenue,theGrouphascontinuedtostrengthencostandexpensemanagementduringtheperiod,therebyminimizingtheimpactoftherevenuedeclineonitsperformance.ForthelossattributabletotheshareholdersoftheCompany,therewasacertaindegreeofnarrowingduringtheperiod. Lookingaheadtothesecondhalfoftheyear,intermsoftheoverallbusinessenvironment,theGroupnotedthenegativedevelopmentandincreasingcomplexityininternationalgeopoliticalsituationsandglobaltradedisputes,whichareexpectedtobringheighteneduncertaintytothemarketandmacroeconomicenvironment.TheGroup’svariousbusinessoperationswillalsoinevitablyfacenumerouschallenges.Undertheguidanceof“topromotetherealestatemarkettostopthedeclineandstabilize”,theChinesegovernmenthassuccessivelyintroducedandisexpectedtointroducemorepowerfulandextensivesupportpoliciestostabilizetheindustryandboostmarketconfidence.Whileseekingtoimplementpotentialrealestateprojects,theGroupalsoplanstoadjustitsoperationalstrategiesandthestructureofrealestate-relatedservicesinatimelymannerinresponsetomarketchanges.Inrespectofexpandingnewbusinesses,theGroupisactivelyfinalisingcollaborationswithcommercialpartnersinthefieldsofbigdataandartificialintelligence,andisalsocommittedtocreatingnewrevenuesourcesinthesecondhalfoftheyearbyprovidingtransformationaswellasoperationandmaintenanceservicesrelatedtoadvancedcomputinginfrastructure(appliedtoartificialintelligenceandvarious
