TheanticipatedpaceofeconomicrecoveryinHongKonghasbeenfarfromsatisfactorysincethesecondhalfofthePreviousYear.Thepropertymarkethasexhibitedongoingsluggishnesswhilethestockmarkethasswungupanddown.Amidchangingconsumerpatterns,astrongHongKongdollarandanincreasingpopularityofoutboundtravel,thelocalretailmarkethasexperiencedpersistentchallengesduetoahamperedwillingnesstospend,resultinginageneralrevenuedeclineacrossmostbusinesssegmentsoftheGroup. Grossprofitmarginshowedaslightdecreasefrom26.4%inthePreviousPeriodto25.6%,primarilyduetoareducedsalesproportionofhigher-marginproductsandservices.ThenetprofitattributabletoShareholdersforthePeriodwasHK$7.1million,reflectingasignificantdeclineof75.2%comparedtothePreviousPeriod.Apartfromthedropinrevenueandgrossprofit,thevaluationlossofHK$6.0million(PreviousPeriod:HK$5.3million)frominvestmentproperties,drivenbytheslowpropertymarketsinHongKongandthePRC;theimpairmentlossonfinancialassetsofHK$1.5million(PreviousPeriod:nil),duetouncertaintyinrecoveringtradereceivablesfromacustomer;theimpairmentlossonproperty,plantandequipment,andright-of-useassetsofHK$2.3million(PreviousPeriod:HK$1.3million)resultingfromcertainloss-makingorunderperformedretaillocations;togetherwiththeincometaxexpenseofHK$3.6million(PreviousPeriod:incometaxcreditofHK$1.7million)givingrisetoasignificantdropofthenetprofitattributabletoShareholders. BasicearningspersharestoodatHK0.60centforthePeriod,downfromHK2.43centsinthePreviousPeriod.Inlightoftheprevailingeconomicuncertainties,theBoarddoesnotrecommendthepaymentofanyinterimdividendforthePeriod. 整体回顾 收益及业绩 于本年度上半年,本公司的综合收益由去年同期的港币5.79亿元下跌7.5%至港币5.36亿元。综合收益下跌受多项因素影响,尤其是去年同期表现异常强劲,业绩超乎预期,造成相对较高的比较基准。 自上年度下半年以来,香港经济的复苏步伐未如预期,表现强差人意。物业市场持续低迷,股市大起大落。随着消费模式转变、港币呈现强势及出境旅游成为热潮,本地零售市场因消费意欲不振而持续面临挑战,导致本集团大部分业务分部的整体收入下跌。 毛利率由去年同期的26.4%轻微下降至25.6%,主要是由于高利润产品及服务的销售比例减少所致。本期间的股东应占净利润为港币710万元,较去年同期大幅下跌75.2%。除收益及毛利下跌外,投资物业因香港及中国物业市场放缓出现估值亏损港币600万元(去年同期:港币530万元);因向一名客户收回贸易应收账项存在不确定性而产生金融资产减值亏损港币150万元(去年同期︰零);因若干零售点产生亏损或未达标而产生物业、厂房及设备,以及使用权资产减值亏损港币230万元(去年同期:港币130万元),加上所得税开支港币360万元 (去年同期:所得税抵免港币170万元),种种原因导致股东应占净利润大幅下降。 每股基本盈利由去年同期的2.43港仙下降至本期间的0.60港仙。由于当前经济前景不明朗,董事会不建议就本期间派付任何中期股息。 2China-HongkongPhotoProductsHoldingsLimited中港照相器材集团有限公司 BUSINESSREVIEWMERCHANDISING PhotographicProducts DuringthePeriod,thesegmentrecordedanotabledeclineinsalesofdigitalcamerasandlenses,withadecreaseof12.2%comparedtothePreviousPeriod.DespitetheenduringpopularityofFUJIFILM’sofferings,thisdownturncouldlargelybeattributedtothelimitedproductioncapacity,whichhindereditsabilitytomeettheincreasingdemand.NewproductslaunchedduringthePer
