Objectives

Methodology

- Participants: 504 potential participants, with 407 completing the survey (81% response rate).

- 49% from Ouagadougou city.
- 39% collaborating with the WBG.
- 24% education specialists and 23% public governance specialists.

- 263 participants (52% response rate).

Familiarity and Trust
- Familiarity: Mean familiarity score decreased from 6.0 in FY19 to 5.0 in FY24.
- Collaboration: Respondents who collaborate with the WBG reported higher familiarity (mean = 6.9) compared to non-collaborators (mean = 3.8).
- Stakeholder Familiarity: Highest among bilateral or multilateral agencies, lowest among the private sector and civil society.
- Trust: The WBG was more trusted than other multinational institutions like the IMF and UN. Respondents who collaborated with the WBG had higher trust scores (mean = 7.6) compared to FY19 (mean = 6.8).
