Purpose: These Media and Marketing Regulations (MMRs) govern the ownership and exploitation of Commercial Rights related to the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Dominican Republic 2024. They outline the obligations of participating member associations (PMAs) and delegation members to support FIFA's media and marketing activities, and specify the rights and benefits that PMAs can exploit.
-
Scope: The MMRs include three appendices:
- Appendix A: Marketing
- Appendix B: Content
- Appendix C: FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Dominican Republic 2024 Winner’s Trophy
-
Complementary Documents: The MMRs should be read alongside the Equipment Regulations, Competition Regulations, and Accreditation Terms and Conditions, as these documents contain relevant provisions.
-
Additional Guidelines: Additional Guidelines, such as the Team Handbook and Team Media Guidelines, may be issued by FIFA to provide specific competition-related guidelines for PMAs and their parties.
-
Precedence: In case of inconsistencies, the MMRs take precedence over the Equipment Regulations, except for matters specifically covered by the Equipment Regulations.
These regulations ensure that FIFA maintains control over the commercial aspects of the competition while providing some flexibility for PMAs to exploit certain rights under strict conditions.
