MARKETREVIEW In1HY2024,withcyclicalfactorsweakening,globaleconomicactivitygraduallyrecovered.However,duetotheescalationoftradetensionsandincreasedpolicyuncertainty,therateofinterestratecutssloweddown.Additionally,geopoliticaltensionsaddedtotheuncertaintyinthemacroeconomicenvironment.Facingnewchallengessuchasrisingexternalenvironmentaluncertaintyandthecontinueddeepeningofdomesticstructuraladjustments,Chinacontinuedtounleashtheeffectsofmacroeconomicpolicies.In1HY2024,thenationaleconomymaintainedarecoverytrendwithoverallstabilityandprogress.AccordingtodatafromtheNationalBureauofStatistics,theGrossDomesticProduct(“GDP”)in1HY2024reachedapproximatelyRMB62trillion,markingayear-on-yeargrowthof5.0%.Nationwidefixedassetinvestment(excludingruralhouseholds)amountedtoapproximatelyRMB25trillion,anincreaseof3.9%year-on-year.Meanwhile,theindustrialaddedvalueofenterprisesaboveadesignatedsizeacrossthecountrygrewby6.0%year-on-yearin1HY2024.TheoverallstableandpositiveoperationoftheindustrialeconomycontributedtotherobustdevelopmentoftheGroup’sbusiness. Electricpowerisoneofthecriticalmaterialfoundationsforeconomicandsocialdevelopment,closelytiedtonationalinterestsandpeople’slivelihoods.Withthegradualeconomicrecoveryandcontinuousindustrialupgrading,thedemandforelectricityamongvariousindustriesandurbanandruralresidentshassignificantlyincreased.AccordingtodatareleasedbytheNationalEnergyAdministration,thetotalelectricityconsumptionofsocietyin1HY2024was4,657.5billionkilowatt-hours,ayear-on-yearincreaseof8.1%.Ofthis,thepowergenerationofindustriesaboveadesignatedsizewas4,435.4billionkilowatt-hours.Additionally,thenationalcumulativeinstalledpowergenerationcapacityin1HY2024reachedapproximately3.07billionkilowatts,ayear-on-yearincreaseof14.1%.Tofurthermeetthedemandforefficientandsafeelectricityusage,theStateGridCorporationofChina(“StateGrid”)andvariouslocalpowergridcompaniescontinuedtheirefforts,withinvestmentsinpowergridprojectsreachingRMB254billionin1HY2024,ayear-on-yearincreaseof23.7%.Thecont
