Whilenotificationsrelatedtonon-plasticsubstituteshavegrownexponentiallybetween2009and2021,theyremainslowerthanplastic-relatednotificationsbutfasterthanthosewithenvironmentalobjectives.Measuresspanenvironmentalrequirements,technicalstandards,andmarket-basedsupport,withdevelopingcountriesemphasizingtechnicalstandardsanddevelopedeconomies favoringactivesupportmeasuresliketaxconcessionsandgrants.
