Althoughtheinvestmentsintheprivatesectorcontinuetobeconservativeduetoworldwideeconomicuncertaintiesandgeo-politicaltensions,tendersinthepublicsectorhavebecomeactiveastheHongKonggovernmenthasmadecommitmentstoincreasepublichousingsupply. AsmentionedinthelatestPolicyAddress,theChiefExecutivehasmovedaheadafewmajordevelopmentplanstoincreaseandspeeduphousingandlandsupplyinquantityandquality;tobuildupathirdCentralBusinessDistrict;andtodevelopHongKongintoanewinternationalinnovationandtechnologycity.NewdevelopmentplansincludetheNorthernMetropolis,KauYiChauArtificialIslandandTseungKwanOArea137. TheChiefExecutivealsoplanstotakeforwardthreemajorroadprojectsandthreestrategicrailwayprojects,includingNorthernMetropolisHighway,ShatinBypass,TseungKwanO-YauTongTunnel,anewCentralRailLink,HongKong-ShenzhenWesternRailLinkandTseungKwunOSouthernLinetobringaboutahighlyinter-connectedandaccessibleroadnetworkandrailsystemtosupportthefuturedevelopmentofHongKong. Thegovernmentisproceedingwithbuildinga“NorthernMetropolis”inYuenLongandNorthdistrictscoveringatotallandareaofabout300squarekilometers.Theentireprojectisexpectedtotake20yearstocomplete.ThenewmetropolisaccountsformorethanonequarterofHongKong’slandareaandisexpectedtoaccommodateone-thirdofthepopulation.Itwillinvolveamultitudeofnewinfrastructureprojects,suchastransportationlinks,aswellasresidentialandcommercialbuildings.Inaddition,some330,000publichousingunitswillbebuiltby2032toeasethelongwaitingtimeforpublichousing.Thegovernmentsaidthattheyhavesecured350hectaresoflandtomeettheestimatedpublichousingdemandforaround301,000unitsinthecoming10-yearperiod. 各位股东： 本人谨此代表董事会（“董事会”）提呈三和建筑集团有限公司（“本公司”）连同其附属公司（“本集团”）截至2024年3月31日止年度的年报。 尽管由于全球经济不确定性和地缘政治紧张局势，私营机构的投资持续保守，但随着香港政府承诺增加公营房屋供应，公营机构的投标转趋活跃。 最新的《施政报告》中提及到，行政长官推行数项主要发展计划，为房屋及土地供应提量提质并加快供应步伐；打造第三个核心商业区；及将香港发展成新的国际创新科技城市。新发展计划包括北部都会区、交椅洲人工岛及将军澳第137区。 行政长官亦计划推展三条主要干道及三条策略铁路的项目，包括北都公路、沙田绕道、将军澳至油塘隧道、新建中铁线、港深西部铁路及将军澳线南延线，形成四通八达的道路网络和铁路系统，推动香
