Althoughthe investments in the private sector continue tobeconservative due to worldwide economic uncertaintiesand geo-political tensions, tenders in the public sector havebecomeactive as the Hong Kong government has madecommitments to increase public housing supply. 儘管由於全球經濟不確定性和地緣政治緊張局勢，私營機構的投資持續保守，但隨著香港政府承諾增加公營房屋供應，公營機構的投標轉趨活躍。 As mentioned in the latest Policy Address, the Chief Executivehas moved ahead a few major development plans to increaseand speed up housing and land supply in quantity and quality;to build up a third Central Business District; and to developHong Kong into a new international innovation and technologycity. Thegovernment is proceeding with building a“NorthernMetropolis” in Yuen Long and North districts covering a totalland area of about 300 square kilometers.
