The McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) is a research arm of McKinsey & Company that aims to provide insights on global economy and management decisions. It combines economics and management disciplines, using microeconomic industry trends to understand macroeconomic forces. MGI's recent reports cover productivity and growth, natural resources, labor markets, global financial markets, technology and innovation, and urbanization. The report is led by three senior partners, Jacques Bughin, Jonathan Woetzel, and James Manyika, and includes partners Michael Chui, Susan Lund, Anu Madgavkar, Jan Mischke, Sree Ramaswamy, and Jaana Remes, as well as senior fellows Mekala Krishnan and Jeongmin Seong.
