Wedevelopedforthefirsttimeadoublematerialityassessment,allowingusto re-evaluateourESGimpactsandriskscomprehensively.Theseeffortsconfirmedthedirectionwehavetaken,notablyintermsofthematerialtopicClimateChange,andunderscoredtherelevanceofareaswherewehavebeenplacingmoreemphasis,includingBiodiversity,Diversity,Equity&Inclusion. Effortstoincreaseenergyefficiencyanduseofrenewableenergysourcesarepropellingustowardsclimatepositivitywhileathoroughreviewofourwaterfootprinthasidentifiedscopeforoptimisingefficiency,anintegralelementofourenvironmentalprotectionefforts. Withourpeople,wearestrivingtobecomeevenmorebalancedandinclusive,improvinghowwecareforall.Inourongoingeffortstowardsequality,wetargetequalpayandactivemanagementofunconsciousbias. Removingworkplacebarriersand pursuingdedicatedinitiativesallowsustofosteramoreinclusiveenvironment. Toensurethesafetyandwellbeingofourworkforce,weareexpandingourbehaviouralsafetyprogrammetocreateacultureofsafetyandreduceworkplaceincidents.Providingaccesstomentalandphysicalhealthinitiatives,tools,andtrainingallowsustosupportthewellbeingofourworkforce. ESGeffortsextendnotonlytoouremployees,butalsotothecommunitieswherewesourceandoperate.Respectinghumanrightsandappropriatelabourconditionsisessentialtobeingaresponsiblecorporatecitizen.In2023,weensuredthatourduediligenceandtransparencyrelatedtomineralsandmetalsfromconflictzonesandchildlabourmeetthenewestregulations,includingSwitzerland'sCodeofObligations. Byfocusingonthesegoals,wecanimprovethelivesofmillionsandpromoteacompanyculturethatvaluesthewellbeingofitsemployeesandthecommunitiesitserves,allwhilecaringfortheenvironment.
