This report is a review commissioned by the British Council on teaching Arabic as a foreign language in schools in the UK. The research aimed to understand how Arabic is being taught in schools and the approaches used. The report is divided into two strands: research and acknowledgements. The research team consisted of various authors and was conducted using a methodology that took into account ethical implications. The findings of the research are presented in the report.
