The 2014 edition of the Tax Guide issued by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) provides an overview of specific taxes on motor vehicles, including taxes on acquisition, ownership, and motoring. Traditionally covering EU Member States and other European countries, the scope of the guide has been extended to include Brazil, China, India, Japan, Korea, Russia, and the United States, thanks to the help of national motor vehicle manufacturers associations in these countries. Reproduction of the content is not permitted without prior written consent from ACEA. The guide is divided into several sections, including a summary of taxes in each of the countries covered.
