The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) has published a comprehensive 2020 Tax Guide that provides an overview of specific taxes on motor vehicles in Europe and other major markets worldwide. The guide, which is almost 320 pages long, covers taxes on vehicle acquisition, ownership, and motoring. It includes information on the 27 EU member states, the UK, and three EFTA countries, as well as China, India, Japan, Korea, Russia, Turkey, and the US. The guide is compiled with the help of national associations of motor vehicle manufacturers or importers in all these countries.
