The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) has published the 2021 edition of its annual Tax Guide, which provides a comprehensive overview of specific taxes on motor vehicles in Europe and other major markets worldwide. The guide, which contains over 350 pages, covers taxes on vehicle acquisition, ownership, and motoring, and includes information on the 27 EU member states, the UK, and three EFTA countries, as well as Brazil, China, India, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Turkey, and the US. The guide is compiled with the help of national associations of motor vehicle manufacturers or importers in all these countries, and ACEA extends its gratitude to all involved for making up-to-date information available.
