This report provides an overview of youth entrepreneurship in the Ibero-American region, based on data collected by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) in 2015. The authors express gratitude to the GEM national teams and sponsoring organizations for their contributions to the study. The report highlights the importance of entrepreneurship in promoting economic growth and social mobility in the region. Key findings include a high level of entrepreneurial activity among young people, particularly in Latin America, and a strong preference for starting businesses in the informal sector.
