Reliance Cement Co. Pvt Ltd is building its first integrated cement plant in Madhya Pradesh and a 2.2Mta grinding facility in Uttar Pradesh, with the help of Holetc Consulting Pvt Ltd. The cement producer aims to contribute its engineering experience to both projects. The project in India's long-term cement demand is for pozzolanic portland cement (PPC), with a per capita consumption of around 190kg, which is lower than the world average. The project is planned to utilise a waste heat recovery (WHR) system, and is expected to rise as the country develops. As the economy grows, production is expected to climb to around 55mnt by FY20. Since the conception of the new cement works in March 2009, Holetc Consulting has provided the required materials and services, including concrete, reinforcement, structural steel, mechanical fabrication, and mechanical erection. Reliance Cement Co. Pvt Ltd is part of the Reliance Group and decided to install its first integrated cement unit with the assistance of Holetc Consulting Pvt Ltd.
