The Donald Vial Center on Employment in the Green Economy has submitted comments on the proposed Clean Energy Incentive Program (CEIP) under the Clean Power Plan (CPP). The DVC supports the inclusion of the CEIP in the CPP and believes that it can help ensure that investments in clean energy and efficiency are distributed in communities with the highest barriers to deployment. The DVC also believes that states and their stakeholders have a unique opportunity through State Implementation Plans to craft energy solutions that work best for their state's economy, workers, and communities. The DVC will urge the states to take advantage of the CEIP in their State Implementation Plans.
