The BrandFinance European Football Brands 2011 report, published in September 2011, ranks the top 30 football clubs in Europe based on their brand value. Manchester United regained the title of most valuable football brand, with a brand value of £412m, followed by Real Madrid in second place. Manchester City, the "other" team from Manchester, experienced the biggest growth, moving up eight places and achieving almost 100% brand growth. The report also highlights the new UEFA financial fair play rules, which will regulate the financial operations of the game, and predicts that clubs will focus on increasing their brand strategies to create additional revenue streams.
