The IT services supplier landscape in continental Europe has changed dramatically in recent years, with companies becoming more open to outsourcing. The European IT market, which is as large as North America's, has remained largely untapped, leading to a gold rush among Indian IT service suppliers. Indian companies, such as TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, have become well-known in the European market due to their persistent efforts to penetrate it. The shift in preference can be attributed to the legacy European IT service suppliers' dominance, cultural and mindset barriers, and a lack of onshore and/or nearshore development centers in continental Europe.
