NGMN Alliance, the leading global forum for mobile network operators, has sent a letter to the European Commission regarding the Delegated Act on Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS). The letter expresses concern about the current draft text of the Delegated Act and calls for a forward-looking, technology-neutral approach in developing the EU's strategy on C-ITS. The NGMN Alliance reiterates its position that Cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) should be included on the list of available/mature technologies that European stakeholders may utilise. The detailed feedback from the Board of the NGMN Alliance regarding the draft Delegated Act is attached to the letter for reference. The NGMN Alliance looks forward to reconsidering the current version of the Delegated Act taking into account their feedback and is available to discuss the matter further.
