AfteryearsofCOVID-19,theglobaleconomysloweddownduetotheRussian-Ukrainianconflict,fluctuationsofrawmaterialpricesandexchangerate,aswellasthecontinuedpandemic,whichconstrainedthedevelopmentofthesemiconductorindustry.Sincethesecondhalfof2022,asprogressiveinnovationintheconsumerelectronicsandothermarketshaveenteredthedeclinestage,theweakdemandintheconsumermarkethascausedchipsupplierstocutbackonorders.Thepressureonchipmanufacturerstoreduceinventoryhasrisensharply,andthesemiconductorindustryhasenteredadownwardcycle.However,thedemandforchipsintherealmofhigh-powerrenewableenergy,energystorage,industrialautomationandartificialintelligenceremainshighunderthesystematicdestockingcycle,bringingnewdevelopmentopportunitiesforsemiconductorenterprises. 2.BUSINESSREVIEW Asastablesupplierofsourcingandsaleofintegratedcircuit(“ICs”)productsandtheprovisionsofICsapplication,theGroup’sshort-termresultswerechallengedbythecontractioninindustrydemandinthefirsthalfof2023.However,theGrouphasbeenproactiveinaddressingmarketchallengesandcontinuestoexplorenewgrowthareastobuildupstrengthforfuturedevelopment.
