MARKETREVIEW Inthefirsthalfof2023,aspandemicpreventionmeasureswererelaxed,therewasagradualreboundineconomy.However,persistentglobalinflationandasustainedhigh-interestrateenvironmenthaveimpactedbothconsumerandbusinessconfidence.Moreover,therisksassociatedwithgeopoliticaltensionsandtradeconflictshavecastedashadowoverthemacro-economicprospects.Nevertheless,thecentralgovernmentcontinuedtoimplementsteadfastfiscalandmonetarypoliciestofacilitatehigh-qualitydevelopment,boostdomesticdemand,stabiliseeconomicrecoveryandstimulateeconomicgrowth.Asaresult,thegrossdomesticproductofthePRCexperiencedahealthygrowthratebyapproximately5.5%year-on-yearinthefirsthalfof2023whencomparedwiththatofthecorrespondingperiodofthepreviousyear. Therealestatemarketnationwidehasfacedsignificantchallengescausedbyliquidityrisksanddiminishingdemand.Thishasledtoasharpdownturnincommercialhousingsales,erodingconfidenceinfuturemarketdevelopmentoftherealestatesector.AccordingtothedatareleasedbytheNationalBureauofStatisticsofthePRC,inthefirsthalfof2023,thetotalsalesareaofcommercialhousingamountedtoapproximately595millionsq.m.,representingadecreaseofapproximately13.6%ascomparedwiththatofthecorrespondingperiodofthepreviousyear.Intermsofmonetaryvalue,thesalesvolumeofcommercialhousingdecreasedbyapproximately4.5%toapproximatelyRMB6.31trillion,ascomparedwiththatofthecorrespondingperiodofthepreviousyear.Besides,thetotalinvestmentintherealestatesectorinthefirsthalfof2023amountedtoapproximatelyRMB5.85trillion,representingayear-on-yeardecreaseofapproximately14.3%.Thedataillustratedthatthesalesandinvestmentperforma
