The Net Zero Navigator is a conceptual design for a liquid hydrogen carrier with a capacity of approximately 80,000 cubic meters. The vessel was heavily inspired by NASA and space-age technologies involving hydrogen, and features large spherical hydrogen storage tanks developed by NASA, hydrogen fuel cells, and batteries for power generation. The design requires special spherical tanks due to the difficulty of storing hydrogen safely at significant quantities. The publication was prepared by a group of contributors, including Maritime Strategies International and Herbert Engineering.
