BUSINESSREVIEW SincetheoutbreakoftheCOVID-19pandemicinearly2020,ithasbroughtunprecedentedchallengestotheGroup’swatchesretailbusiness.Inthefaceoftheongoingpandemic,althoughtheGrouphasimplementedvariousmarketingstrategiestoboostsales,ourretailshopsstillrecordedcontinuouslosses.Consideringtheuncertaintyaboutre-openingofborderswithMainlandChina,wedeterminedlyclosedtwounderperformingshopsupontheexpiryoftheirtenancycontractsduringtheReviewPeriod.Asaresult,thetotalnumberofretailshopoperatedbytheGroupwasreducedto1asat31October2022(asat30April2022:3).Inviewoftheextremelydifficultbusinessenvironment,theGrouphadalsoclosedthelastretailshopuponexpiryofitstenancycontractinNovember2022.Meanwhile,theGroupwillfocusondevelopingitswholesalebusinessandconsidertoresumeitsretailbusinesswhentheimpactofthepandemiceases. Asforthetradingbusiness,themajorproductssoldbytheGroupincludeurea,compoundfertiliser,coal,crudeglycerineandglucoseandtheapplicationofureacanbebroadlydividedintoagricultural,industrialandvehicleuses.DuringtheReviewPeriod,productioncostoffertilisersroseduetorisingpricesofrawmaterialandincreasingenvironmentalprotectioncosts.Coupledwiththeexpandingmarketdemand,theoverallfertiliserpricesmaintainedanupwardtrend.Meanwhile,undertheinfluenceofwarbetweenRussiaandUkraine,theglobalenergysupplywastight,whichfurtherpushedupthepricesofinternationalfertiliser.Withitsextensivebusinessnetwork,thesalesteamoftheGroupgraspedtheopportunityofrisinginternationalfertiliserpricesandrealizedconsiderableprofitsinitsexportbusiness.Asaresult,theGroup’stradingbusinessstillmaintainedamomentumofgrowthanditsrevenuerecordedadecentgrowthduringtheReviewPeriod. 致列位股东： 本人谨代表富一国际控股有限公司董事会（分别为“本公司”、“董事”及“董事会”）提呈本公司及其附属公司（统称“本集团”）截至二零二二年十月三十一日止六个月（“回顾期间”）之未经
