Inthefirsthalfofthefinancialyear,theeconomicenvironmentremainedunsatisfactory,duringwhichtheextremelystronginfectivityofthenovelcoronavirus(COVID-19)variantOmicronacceleratedthedeteriorationofthepandemicinmainlandChinaandHongKong,andtheeconomicactivitiesinbothplacesweredeeplyimpacted.Undersuchaharshbusinessenvironment,theGroup’smainbusinesseswereinevitablyaffectedtoacertainextent,andtherevenuefortheperiodrecordedacomparativelylargedeclineascomparedwiththatofthecorrespondingperiodoflastyear.AlthoughtheGroupstrengthenedcostcontrolduringtheperiodwithrelatedcostsrecordingadecrease,theoverallcostsremainedatasimilarlevelduetotherecognitionofpartofthefairvalueofshareoptions.Inaggregate,thelossattributabletoshareholdersoftheCompanyincreasedsignificantlyduringtheperiod. Lookingaheadtothesecondhalfoftheyear,thedevelopmentofthepandemicisexpectedtoenterthefinalstage,buttheglobalmacrosituationisstillinturmoilwithuncertaintiessuchasmilitaryconflicts,competitionamongmajorpowersandinflationarypressurecausingdifficultiestobusiness.Facingvariouschallenges,theGroupwillcontinuetostrengthentheoperationofitsmainbusinesses,expandsynergiesamongbusinessesattherighttime,andlookforgrowthhighlightstogivefullplaytoitsoperationaladvantages.TheGroupwillalsoactivelyexploreandevaluatethedevelopmentofnewbusinesses.Thestrategyofstrengtheningcustomerbase,diversifyingproductandserviceportfolioandintensifyingcostcontrolwillal
