The MIT Technology Review Insights report in partnership with Infosys Cobalt highlights the growing adoption of a new cybersecurity philosophy called "zero trust" by organizations globally. Zero trust is a mindset change that focuses on principles of least privilege, giving access only for a specific time and with the least amount of access. The report reveals that three out of four organizations have become more aggressive in their approach to cybersecurity over the past two years, with end-user security topping the list of concerns. About 40% of poll respondents said their organizations have already adopted a zero-trust model, while another 18% are in the process of implementing it. The report emphasizes the importance of adopting a new security architecture that closes the end-user gap to effectively defend against cyberattacks.
