The Women's Forum Barometer 2021 report, conducted by Ipsos, surveyed 3500 people in the G7 countries (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK, and US) to understand the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on women and men. The report found that women have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic, with more than half of the population expressing concern about their future, fear of going to hospitals, burnout, anxiety, and/or depression. Women also reported doing more at home, not taking enough time to ensure their health, and feeling that no one is helping them. The report highlights the urgent need for action to address the disproportionate impact of the pandemic on women and promote an inclusive recovery in the G7 countries.
