In2021,thepharmaceuticaldistributionandhealthcareindustryhassteadilyrecoveredfromtheshockoftheoutbreakoftheCOVID-19pandemicin2020,butitstillfacesanextremelycomplicatedandunstablemarketconditionssuchasthetightenedmeasurestocontrolthewidespreadofnewcoronavirusvariantinmanyprovincesinthePRCandaroundtheworld,causingturbulenceininternationaltrade.Facingsuchseveremarketuncertainty,theGroupmadevariousdecisiveadjustmentsduringtheyearsuchasstreamlinedthebusinessoperationsinthePeople’sRepublicofChina(the“PRC”)markettocontroloperatingcosts,implementedaneffectivecashflowmanagementstrategy,andassessedthebusinessexpansionplanwithamoreprudentmanagementapproach. GiventheinherentunpredictablenatureanddevelopmentoftheCOVID-19pandemic,especiallytheoutbreakofnewOmicronvariantthathasspreadaroundtheworld,theGroup’sbusinessmightbeaffectedandwewillcloselymonitortheoverallsituationanddevelopmentofeventsintheregard. RESULTSFORTHEYEAR TheGroupcontinuedtofocusonpharmaceuticalwholesaleanddistributionbusiness,andprovideshemodialysistreatmentandconsultancyservicebusinessinthePRC. 2021and2022werenotlikeanyotheryears,thepandemichasmadeitchallengingforeveryonebutweareproudtoseetotalrevenueoftheGroupfortheyearwasapproximatelyHK$154.823million,representinganincreaseofapproximatelyHK$40.737millionascomparedto2021.ThegrossprofitwasapproximatelyHK$54.234million,representinganincreaseofapproximatelyHK$12.898millionascomparedto2021.ThelossfortheyearattributabletotheownersoftheCompanywasapproximatelyHK$50.999millionmainlyduetotheimpairm
