The unauditedcondensed consolidated financial results of the Group for the Period havebeen reviewed by the Company’s audit committee (“Audit Committee”) andapproved by the Board on 27 April 2026. All amounts set out in this interim reportare presented in Malaysian Ringgit (“RM”) unless otherwise indicated. Business Review BGMC is a full-fledged, integrated solutions provider in Construction Servicessector (comprising Building and Structures segment, Energy Infrastructuresegment, and Mechanical and Electrical segment), which undertakes primarilyconstruction service contracts not exceeding five years. Construction Services Sector 177.1100.0%100.5100.0% The Construction Services sector contributed RM177.1 million, or 100.0%, to theconsolidated revenue of the Group for the Period, as compared with RM100.5million, or 100.0%, recorded in the Corresponding Period. The Construction Services sector continues to face numerous challenges duringthe Period. These challenges included project delays, increased operational costs,labour shortages, supply chain disruptions, inflationary pressure on constructionmaterials, volatility in fuel and diesel prices, regulatory and approval bottlenecks,as well as a highly competitive market environment, all of which impactedthe overall performance. Global pricing volatility of key building materials, aswell as fluctuations in diesel and fuel costs, continues to exert pressure onproject margins and overall cost structures. Despite these headwinds, thesector remains focused on maintaining quality service delivery, strengtheningoperational efficiency, improving workforce productivity, and exploring strategicopportunities to enhance resilience and long-term growth.
