(Incorporated in Bermuda with limited liability)(Stock Code: 1063)1063 For the six months ended 30 June 2024 UNAUDITED INTERIM RESULTS The board (the “Board”) of directors (the “Directors”) of SunCorp TechnologiesLimited(the“Company”)presents theunaudited condensed consolidatedinterim results of the Company and its subsidiaries (collectively, the “Group”)for the six months ended 30 June 2024 together with the comparative figuresin 2023, as follows: CONDENSED CONSOLIDATED STATEMENT OF PROFIT OR LOSS AND OTHERCOMPREHENSIVE INCOME For the six months ended 30 June 2024 NOTES TO CONDENSED CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS For the six months ended 30 June 2024 1. 1.Basis of preparation D234 Thesecondensed consolidated financial statements have been prepared inaccordancewiththeapplicabledisclosurerequirementsofAppendixD2totheRules(the“Listing Rules”)Governing the Listing of Securities on The StockExchangeofHongKongLimited(the“StockExchange”)andwithHongKongAccounting Standard 34 “Interim Financial Reporting” issued by the Hong KongInstitute of Certified Public Accountants (“HKICPA”). Thecondensed consolidatedfinancial statementshavebeenprepared onthehistorical cost basis except for certain financial instruments, which are measured atfair values. Historical cost is generally based on the fair value of the considerationgiven in exchange for goods and services. Except as described below, the accounting policies and methods of computationused in the condensed consolidated financial statements for the six months ended30 June 2024 are the same as those followed in the preparation of the Group’sannual financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2023. 2. 2.Adoption of new and revised Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (“HKFRSs”) In the current period, the Group has adopted all the new and revised HKFRSs issuedby the HKICPA that are relevant to its operations and effective for its accountingyearbeginning on 1 January 2024.The adoption of these new and revisedHKFRSs did not result in significant changes to the Group’s accounting policies,presentation of the Group’s financial statements and amounts reported for thecurrent period and prior years. The following new and amended standards and interpretations are adopted for thefirst time for financial year beginning 1 January 2024: 12812 Amendments to HKAS 1 andHKFRS Practice Statement 2 Disclosure of Accounting Policies Amendments to HKAS 8 Definition of Accounting Estimates Deferred Tax Related to Assets andLiabilities Arising from a SingleTransaction Amendments to HKAS 12 3. 8 Information reported to the executive directors of the Company, being the chiefoperating decision makers, for the purposes of resources allocation and assessmentofsegment performance focuses on types of goods or services delivered orprovided. The Group’s reportable and operating segments under HKFRS 8 are asfollows: 1. 1.Trading of used computer-related components, clothes and beauty products–Processingandtradingofusedcomputer-relatedcomponents,salesofclothes and beauty products2.Moneylendingbusiness–Interest incomeearned from money lendingbusiness3.Securities brokerage – Provision of securities broking services 2. 3.
