BIM Pathfinder Project is a collaborative effort between Glasgow Caledonian University's School of Engineering and Built Environment and the Scottish Government to promote the adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the construction industry. The project aims to support the development of BIM processes, tools, and guides, and to provide a minimum standard for BIM implementation in Scotland. The project includes three Pathfinder Projects, including Marischal Square Project in Aberdeen, which serves as an exemplar for private sector-led BIM implementation for cost reduction. The project is expected to contribute to the development of a more efficient and sustainable construction industry in Scotland.
