It has been ranked the world's number-one private-sector think tank in the Global Think Tank Index for two consecutive years. MGI's research combines economics and management, using the "micro-to-macro" methodology to examine industry trends and macroeconomic forces. Its recent reports have focused on productivity and growth, natural resources, labor markets, global financial markets, technology and innovation, and urbanization. The report is led by four senior partners and a group of partners and senior fellows.
