The McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) is a research arm of McKinsey & Company that aims to provide insights on global economy and management decisions. MGI research combines economics and management, using a "micro-to-macro" methodology to examine industry trends and macroeconomic forces. Recent reports have focused on productivity and growth, natural resources, labor markets, global financial markets, technology and innovation, and urbanization. MGI is led by four senior partners and has a team of partners and senior fellows.
