According tostatistics from the National Bureau of Statistics of China, the nationalconsumer price index (CPI) for 2023 increased by 0.2% compared withthe previous year, indicating that domestic economic activities have beenexperiencing moderate recovery, and demand for goods and servicescontinued to recover. During the Reporting Period, the Group recorded agrowth of 43.7% from sale of semi-conductors as compared with 2022.The gross profit of the segment increased by approximately 28.8%. 20232023CPI0.2%202243.7%28.8% Revenue of the photovoltaic business of the Group decreased slightlyby approximately 5.6% for the Year. The decrease was mainly causedby the exchange rate in RMB. Considering higher fuel prices and carbonreduction targets, domestic demand for new energy sources continued togrow. The Group anticipated that the revenue of photovoltaic businesswill remain stable in the future. 5.6% 20242023 Looking forward to 2024, global and domestic economic growth isexpected to accelerate as compared with 2023. The Group predictsthat demand for semi-conductor products will experience an increasein the future. The management of the Group will evaluate the potentialopportunities and risks for future operations in light of the externaleconomic environment in a prudent manner as well as strive to seek newdevelopment opportunities to ensure the stable development of variousbusinesses of the Group.
