The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) 2012 Women's Report examines the state of entrepreneurship among women around the world. The report is based on data collected from participating GEM national teams in 107 countries. The report finds that women entrepreneurs are a growing force in the global economy, with high levels of activity in both developed and developing countries. However, the report also highlights significant barriers to women's entrepreneurship, including limited access to finance, lack of business skills and training, and gender discrimination. The report concludes that there is a need for increased support and resources to help women entrepreneurs overcome these barriers and reach their full potential.
