The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) report provides insights into the state of entrepreneurship across the world. The authors of the report are Penny Kew, Niels Bosma, and Thomas Schøtt. Kew is a principal researcher and author of several GEM reports, including the 2008, 2009, and 2010 reports. Bosma is an assistant professor at Utrecht University and coordinator of the Utrecht University Social Entrepreneurship Initiative. He is also a member of the board of advisors with the Global Entrepreneurship Research Association and academic member of GECES. Schøtt is a professor of entrepreneurship at the University of Southern Denmark and adjunct professor of entrepreneurship at Tehran University. He leads GEM in Denmark and is a member of the GEM teams in Iran, Turkey, Nigeria, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The report focuses on individuals' entrepreneurial and innovative behavior in different regional and social contexts. It also provides insights into education and training, youth entrepreneurship, and women's entrepreneurship.
