The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) 2016/17 report is a comprehensive study on entrepreneurship across the world. The report is sponsored by several institutions, including Babson College, London Business School, Universidad del Desarrollo, Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, Tecnológico de Monterrey, and others. The report is compiled and written by Mike Herrington and Penny Kew, with guidance from the Research and Innovation Advisory Committee (RIAC). The data analysis and preparation of tables and figures are done by Jonathan Carmona, Forrest Wright, and Alicia Coduras. The GEM survey is conducted in various economies by national teams, and the information is gathered for the report. The report is designed, laid out, and typeset by Rothko. The Global Entrepreneurship Research Association (GERA) holds the copyright for the report.
