The NGMN Alliance has released a final recommendation on base station antenna standards, version 11.1, which was approved by the NGMN Board on February 15, 2019. The document is intended for informational purposes only and is subject to change without notice. The whitepaper addresses the performance requirements for base station antennas and provides recommendations for standardization in order to improve network efficiency and reduce costs. The document is not intended to be used for product design and no intellectual property rights are granted. The whitepaper was submitted by Amphenol Antenna Solutions and edited by André F.A. Fournier of Amphenol Antenna Solutions, with contributions from several other companies including Commscope, Huawei, and Nokia.
