This report discusses the opportunities and policy responses of Chinese enterprises "Going Global." The report highlights that China's outbound foreign direct investment ("FDI") flow has grown at a compound annual growth rate ("CAGR") of 18% from 2009 to 2013, reaching a historical high of USD107.8 billion in 2013, making China the world's third largest economy for outbound direct investment. China's outbound FDI has amounted to more than USD660 billion, covering 184 countries and creating USD 37 billion tax revenue and about 1 million jobs to the host countries. The report also notes that China's outbound FDI stock has reached USD660.5 billion and the total tax paid to the host countries has been USD37 billion.
