This paper provides an update on SMEs' access to finance in Cyprus, based on new analytical and theoretical work performed by ACCA. The report highlights the importance of access to finance for the growth and development of SMEs, and the challenges they face in obtaining it. The paper proposes possible avenues for further research, including the role of government policies and regulations in promoting SME finance, and the potential of alternative financing sources such as crowdfunding and peer-to-peer lending.
