TheESAsupportsADB’sinvestmentsinIndonesiabydemonstratinghowsatellitedatacanbereadilyaccessedfromtheEuropeanUnion’sCopernicusSentinelmissions. TheGeohazardsExploitationPlatform TheGeohazardsExploitationPlatform(GEP)collatessatelliteEOdataandanalyticalmethodsthatenableplannersmonitoringgeohazardstoprepareinnovativeresponses.TheGEPincludesmorethan20EOprocessingchains,radarandopticaldata,plusmassivecloudcomputingcapacity. TheGEPisnotjustanonlineprocessor.Open,andbasedonsharingprinciples,ithelpstechnicalandendusersbenefitfromspaceinformationtechnology.Since2019,GEPaccesslicenseshavebeenprovidedtoorganizationswithintheGovernmentofIndonesia.
