The Energy Storage Grand Challenge (ESGC) is a crosscutting effort managed by the U.S. Department of Energy's Research Technology Investment Committee (RTIC). The Draft Roadmap was developed by the Energy Storage Subcommittee of the RTIC, co-chaired by Alex Fitzsimmons and Michael Pesin. The report was prepared as an account of work sponsored by an agency of the United States government and was developed by a technical team throughout the Department and at the National Laboratories. The report does not make any warranty, express or implied, or assumes any legal liability or responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information, apparatus, product, or process disclosed.
